Morph into shape

Genetics are no excuse! There are basically three body types, namely Ectomorph, Mesomorph and Endomorph. These body types give you an indication of what you have to do in order to obtains the best shape possible, and in many ways let you know what goals are realistic and you will have a better idea of what you can actually achieve.

It is impossible for you to change your genetic build. You can change your body through the correct diet, a good workout routine and of course dedication.

Ectomorph - thin body, little fat, little muscle

This body type tends to be of a thin nature, more fragile with a delicate or lightly muscled frame, typically known as hard gainers. Ectomorphs are naturally lean and usually never have trouble with excess body fat during their entire lives. It’s not because of a great diet or workout, it’s because they are born with a super fast metabolism.

Mesomorph - muscular body, little fat, more muscle

Mesomorphs are naturally more muscular-looking with a harder, more athletic appearance. These are the body types who don’t seem to train or diet hard at all, yet their bodies respond incredibly. They are the genetically gifted people we all envy because they gain muscle and lose fat easily.

Endomorph - flabby body, more fat

This body type tends to be soft and flabby. Endomorphs have a slow metabolism and are genetically prone to store fat easily. Most people who are working out hard but still struggling to lose body fat are endomorphs. The endomorph is naturally “big boned” and has what some people might describe as a body that is roundly shaped or full bodied.
