Simple Training
We're not talking simple to do, we're talking simple training ethos here. Don't search the four corners of the earth for 'the perfect workout' as there is no such thing - well at least long term there isn't. Instead, think of short term goals and choose a workout which you deem you can do, right now. Stick to that workout for the amount of time stated - usually between 4 and 8 weeks, then mix it up again. Simple really!
Working out really can be very simple. Choose a workout, do it, decide how well it worked for you and tweak accordingly. Aim for the balance between body and mind stimulation. Keep your mind interested and motivated, keep your body guessing and injury free. Sticking to these principles is what it's all about. By all means listen to training advice, but don't try and compute all of it at once. Don't copy pro routines unless you are really advanced. If your workout becomes easy to do, up the weight or the intensity.
Simple training - choose a routine, stick to it for a while, then choose another routine and perform that one for a while. Working out with success really isn't the mysterious, magic secret it's built up to be. It's hard work but not a hard process.
