Weight Lifting Workout Program – Getting Big and Cut

Getting big and cut is the goal of many lifters and this is what they seek out when looking for an ideal weight lifting workout program. This of course is wanting the best of both worlds: big muscles yet chiseled abs. Thus it takes a spot on weight lifting workout program to get it right. As many know, in order to get big muscles you have to increase your eating and focus most of your energy on a weightlifting workout and away from cardio based workouts. On the other hand in order to get cut you are supposed to limit your eating, while placing concentration on cardio workouts! So one can see that a weight lifting workout program must really dial it in to balance both of these goals at the same time. Some general rules to follow are the following:

Ab Exercises are Boring and Useless

Those sexy flat abs are completely within reach without those boring ab exercises or useless (and overpriced) ab machines. All you need are the basics really! That would include basic cardio exercises and basic weight training or strength training exercises. Notice that ab exercises aren’t even in that teeny tiny list? Well that’s because ab exercises have almost nothing to do with being able to show off those sexy abs!

What’s some good weight loss tips? What should I do for a routine?

So I want to lose weight now, after putting it off thinking I don’t have to. I am 16, 5’7″ and weigh 175. The part I want to cut down is my stomach and, well to put it simple I have man boobs. What are some excersises I can do to cut down my weight, and what are some tips to help me? I don’t even know where to start when it comes to this, but I need to do it. Do you have any advice?

I want to build muscle. Is it bad to mix free weight workout and cardio during a weekly workout regime?

I like to do cardio workout for every 2-3 days i do free weight. Should i build muscle first then do cardio’? I want to be cut and lean at the same time.

No, thats definitely good! It’s not good to just do weights and no cardio. Doing both is highly reccomended!

my biceps are hard and i got abs but i just can’t find a way for my biceps to gather about 4inches more and my body to get bigger and wider im tired of being thin and cut i want to be big and cut with huge biceps…any help?

How to lose belly fat and about how long will it take?

I want to lose belly fat but I don’t want a diet or anything. I will cut down on snacks but I need an estimation of time for how long it will take. Please Help!

Quit using frustrating diet and exercise plans that only work a little at best and are agonizing to use. You know the TV show “The Biggest Loser” well check this out, this was the plan that two of the biggest “losers” on that show used, it obviously works quick. .

How do you get yourself motivated to start a diet/exercise plan?

I am starting to cut out sweets and such, and to add weight training to my daily routines for exercise, but I find it depressing to know I can’t gorge myself on chips and chocolate lol… that I will have to limit my intake. Any tips on getting past that?

Do squats, crunches, leg lifts etc really gain muscle weight?

I notice some say they have lost weight doing these, but others have said you gain muscle weight.

I have gained a little weight doing these alongside my usual 60-90 mins stationary cycling/brisk walking a day.

So I now do not know whether to cut down the crunches and squats etc or to cut down the cycling, grrrr.

So confusing! I just want damn exercise that will allow me to stay the same weight but be fit and toned.

How to lose belly fat without losing breasts?

After years of being slightly underweight, I’ve finally put on 20 lbs. Unfortunately, I earned the extra weight through a steady collegiate diet of beer and pizza. I’ve never had breasts before (they’re now a B) but I love them, as well as my new hips.

It’s just that I can’t STAND my “beer belly”. I’ve cut down dramatically on drinking and fast food, but I think I’ll need more than just a diet change to get rid of the belly fat.

I’ve heard that spot training doesn’t really work, but does anyone know if there is some way to lose belly fat without losing my new curves?
