I am almost 13, I am hoping to be playing basketball for my school this year. I have practice this month, try outs in november, and so forth. I am in good shape but you can always be stronger, and better. What are some good workouts?

I am 13 and overweight. I have already talked to my mom about losing weight, and now I need a good website, that is free, that I can use to help me track my weight loss and exercise. Push ups I guess, Do not work out… It will stunt your growth. Wait till puberty kicks in you’ll start growing significantly.

Simple. Just exercise more and eat less (and healthier). Try to only eat when you’re hungry and eat smaller portions (like instead of eating a whole bag of chips, eat a small bowl and savor it). Don’t eat just because you’re bored and don’t eat in front of the computer or TV. Make healthier meals with lots vegetables and full grains. Drink skim milk at dinner but drink water the rest of the day. You can still enjoy a few cookies or a bowl of ice cream, just don’t overdo it.

dosent squats makes your legs fatter because it builds muscle and I want to lose my leg muscle the calves but it says squats are good to burn leg fat but I’m really not sure .

It’s not the type of lift that will build muscle versus get toned, it is the way you lift. If you do not want to gain too much mass in your legs then you should be doing light weight with high reps. That will tone the muscle rather than build.
