Published on August 6, 2010 By Si

OK guys, you ever think that workouts on treadmills and Stairmasters are for girls. You ever get kind of embarrassed that you are walking on a treadmill or staircase to nowhere? But, you think. This is the only way, I’ve got to do this to burn calories. Well, not any more. It’s time to start acting like men again.

And men lift weights! That’s right I’m going to show you how to combine your cardio with your weight lifting and you do it by using a simple piece of equipment called the kettlebell. This is a Russian device that is shaped like a cannonball and has a handle on it. Because of this design it lends itself to swinging. Free weights are great for building muscle as everyone knows. But what kind of muscle do you want to build, lean slender muscles or big bulky muscles? You need to go about it differently. Also did you know that lifting weights can also help you lose weight? Well I tell you how to do that as well.

One of the reasons that weight lifting helps you lose weight is because muscle weighs more than fat so the more muscle you have the more fat you will burn throughout the day. Do you really need supplements for Bodybuilding?

Published on June 21, 2010 By Si

I have tried lifting with and without supplements and have seen minimal to no difference with or without them. Do we really need bodybuilding supplements to build muscles? What about Protein ? Do we really need to take 1 gram of it per pound of body weight?

Best reply by Pete:

Your answer to your question is NO.
People take supplements for a number of reasons.
You say you have tried with and without. Do you realize that your body will not gain muscle or strength in a week. It takes time. It also depends on what type of lifts and exercises you do to gain muscle.
Google Paul Chek. You wont be disappointed by a 50 year old, who is stronger than alot of young guys. Google Will Brink and Chad Waterbury.
