Shoulder injuries are very common from young athletes to seniors. One of the most common shoulder injuries is shoulder impingement. Shoulder impingement is when you move your shoulder and some of the soft tissue structures in your should pinches underneath the bone in you shoulder.

Range of Motion versus Decreased Shoulder Tightness

After a course of physical therapy consisting of stretching and mobilization exercises of the posterior shoulder, research shows that complete resolution of internal impingement symptoms is associated with correction of posterior shoulder tightness but not with glenohumeral internal rotation deficit or GIRD improvement.

The biceps are the muscles on the front of your upper arms and almost every guy wants nice biceps. You can work your arms in many different ways. You can use barbells, dumbbells, and cable machines to maximize muscle growth and work your biceps from many different angles.

I think 3 of the best bicep exercises are barbell curls, incline dumbbell curls, and high cable curls. Each exercise works your arms a little differently and doing them all in the same workout will leave your arms pumped up.

Best Tricep Superset Workout Geared to Get You More Strength Muscle & Definition!

Posted by dmflour35 on June 10, 2010 at 6:14 am

Hi everyone!

The best tricep supersets are those that hit the muscle from all angles. This workout will use fundamental tricep exercises (ex. overhead lying tricep extensions, cable tricep pulldowns, tricep kick backs etc.) and superset them doing a two combo exercise with a 70 second rest between sets.

This tricep superset technique is a muscle building workout that also has the added value of significantly improving strength, muscular endurance and definition. When doing each superset, focus on using your triceps and squeezing at the top of each rep. The trouble with triceps sometimes is that you can use leverage, momentum or use too many secondary muscles and therefore less emphasis is put on the muscle that you are trying to target witch not the point of this workout.

Best Chest Exercises For a Complete Pectoral Workout

The chest or pectoral muscles are second only to the biceps for show muscles.? Thus it is very important to have a big strong perky chest.? The Chest muscles are also pretty big, so by exercising them very well, you get a tough workout. A lot of bodybuilders only swear by heavy bench pressing to get strong pecs.? Of course it’s better to get some variety into your chest workout. ?Here are some of my favorite chest exercises.

1. Seated Chest Presses

Fitness Article: Exercise with Lymphedema of the Leg…

I am writing this article from two points of view, as an experienced fitness trainer / strength coach who has studied health issues for many years and as a patient who suffers with lymphedema of the leg daily. I have been able to maintain my lymphedema pretty well, but that is because I have done extensive reading on the subject, I listened to my doctors, and I have extensive knowledge of exercise. It is on my mind every day, at almost every moment because it takes great effort to maintain properly. I have included the description of lymphedema below.

Frozen Shoulder Exercises – The Way Out From Pain and Limited Range of Motion

Posted by lanegra23 on June 10, 2010 at 3:48 am

It is possible to implement certain kind of frozen shoulder exercises to ease off this limiting condition. Whoever has experienced a frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, knows how impairing it is to live with a limited range of motion and pain. If you want to reach for something you have to use your unaffected arm, if you must use both your arms, such as in driving the car, it’s all about minimizing movements and planning gear change and turns with military precision. Usually the onset of the rotator cuff inflammation is subtle but quick. It starts with a tingle that grows progressively into pain, until it eases off leaving place to a stiff shoulder with limited range of motion.
