What would leg squats be doing for me?

I’m tall about 5’9 and really thin 123ish. I have stick skinny legs and I hate it. If I do leg squats daily would that my legs look less lanky and skinny? And how long would it take? I usually do about 30 a day.

leg squats are a workout, but they build muscle.
if you do a lot of leg squats, you’ll build the muscle in your leg, which could make your legs look a little thicker/muscular.

how do i get a huge chest and biceps?

do i get these by doing reps like 5 sets of 10 or by high weight like 7 sets of 3? how do body builders get such huge muscles (i know roids but what are their workouts)

your building zone for all of your muscles is when your muscles fail between 4-8 reps. basically everytime you touch a weight you should fail at somepoint, just make sure your doing at least four and if you can do 8, then you need to add more weight. you need to do at least 4 exercises and no more than 6 with 3sets each, for a total of 12-18 sets. now lifting is only 50percent of getting huge, your diet is the other fifty, so if your workout is awesome and your diet sucks, then your wasting alot of potential.

What are good leg exercises that could replace squats and lunges?

I can’t do squats and lunges because of my knees. They grind really bad and I can’t stand that feeling so I never do squats and lunges like I used to. Any help? Thanks in advance for any information!

Bike riding. Its good for working your glutes, hamstrings, quads and calf muscles with very little impact. Or,if you have access to a pool, there are lots of great exercises you can do in the water that are very easy on your joints.The other thing that comes to mind is using the ellipticle on a high intesity.

Squats work mainly your Quads, but also work your Glutes, Hamstrings, and Calves.

Leg press is the same.

Have not worked out in 3 weeks and all of a sudden my biceps got huge!!?

Hi, i have been doing pullups for a while know (2 or 3) months and i havent really noticed a difference. So i stopped, thinking the hard work wasnt worth anything. So for like 3 or 4 weeks i didnt really do much. But all of a sudden about a week ago i noticed that my biceps got really big and strong. does any one know why?

When you work your muscles really hard they get sore right? This is your muscles adjusting to the work you’re giving it.

NO a little toned is ok but really buff I find a turn off, I think it is cause usually guys who have huge biceps have horrible self centered personalities.

my biceps are hard and i got abs but i just can’t find a way for my biceps to gather about 4inches more and my body to get bigger and wider im tired of being thin and cut i want to be big and cut with huge biceps…any help?

Will leg squats help with SI Joint pain?

i hurt my SI joint pitching in softball. Would doing squats help or hurt the problem?

Although leg squats are a great strengthening exercise for your legs, hold off until you are painfree with your back. Your SI joint needs to be evaluated by a good chiropractor or good manual therapist. If you have an unstable SI joint it can cause your sacrum to rotate causing back or hip pain. A good practitioner can correct this and teach you how on your own. In the meantime avoid bending at the waist (hard to do in softball bc you do it all the time!). I work in physical therapy and have learned a lot of great techniques to help people. I also have struggled with my own SI back pain from sports related injuries etc. Good luck!
