Adidas CYD Reflex Trainer Tennis Shoe Product Review

Posted by Si on July 3, 2010 at 3:46 pm

Every year during this time, when the weather starts getting perfect for tennis, I do what I usually do every new year, and make a list of things related to tennis that I want to do. Usually, this involves getting in better shape, playing more, getting well enough to play tournaments again etc., etc. etc. This year almost all of my new year’s resolutions have been broken but I actually have started to do something that I hope will help my tennis game. I have started taking a once a week plyometric and core training class in order to try and become more explosive on the court. Since I do work at All About Tennis, it is only natural that I would have to go and get some new shoes in order to help me attain this goal, the Adidas CYD Reflex Trainer!

How to Build Upper Body Strength

Posted by les76 on July 3, 2010 at 1:21 pm

It’s generally during warm climates that men and women alike are, forced to wear lighter clothes to let the skin breathe and prevent the skin from getting too suffocated under damp sweaty full sleeves. This is the time of the year, when we see women wearing spaghetti’s, tank tops, sleeveless, backless etc. This is also the time of the year when we see men hanging around shirtless or in cool sleeveless t-shirts. Whether its summer time or just time spent around beaches or playing water sports or other games, a flabby upper body is an embarrassing sight for both the viewer, as well as the person flaunting the flab.

Gospel Workout Routines For Christians

Posted by lanegra23 on July 3, 2010 at 1:17 pm

Gospel music has evolved over the years, with its origins in tiny, rural churches and growing into a easily recognized art and form of worship. It has not been done often, but combining your workout and your faith can be a powerful combination. When using your commitment to the Lord to honor the temple he provided to you, a faith based workout can be one of the most effective ways to get strong, both physically and spiritually.

Gospel music can be just as inspiring in your home or community center as it is in the church. We all need to hear that we can make it through hard time on weekdays just as much as we do on Sundays.

Its true that modern gyms are awesome. With so many great facilities and with the latest machines and equipment the steep memberships fees are almost worth it. The real problem with joining a local gym is not really the quality of the facility or even the steep membership fees. It all comes down to convenience. The ability to work out when you want and for how long you want – in the convenience of your own home is priceless.

How to Build Your Home Gym Effectively and Work Out at Home

Some people love to work out at home with a home gym setup, rather than paying up to $50 or more per month for a gym membership. On top of, if you work out at a gym, you are at the mercy of their work schedule too, which more often than not is something along the lines of 8-6 PM during the week days, even less than that on the weekends, depending on the gym, along with the location.

Exercise equipment is expensive. Gym memberships are even more expensive over time. You don’t have a lot of free space in your calendar to workout. You want to get in shape, have a better body, but you don’t think you can afford it or have time to do it.

Resistance bands are light, inexpensive, and effective. You don’t have to set aside a special room just to hold resistance bands, they can be stashed in a drawer or closet in a matter of seconds. You don’t have to budget for resistance bands, even the top quality bands are less than $100 for a full set.

Fat Loss Workout – 3 Factors to Consider

Posted by Si on June 29, 2010 at 9:40 pm

Wondering, “Aren’t all workouts a fat loss workout routine?” may appear stupid. Yet you would be stunned to find out how many exercisers have the intention of burning fat but are NOT doing a workout suitable for weight loss. And while any kind of exercise is better than no exercise, as far as losing fat is concerned, all work out plans are not created equal.

Factors to consider when selecting a program…

- The workout ought to be a mix of resistance training as well as energy system training (commonly referred to as “cardio”). Cardiovascular only fat loss workout routines may work over time… but unless you would like to be a Marathon runner a combination of weight training and “cardio” is advisable.
